2012 Upper Deck ABL Cards........huh?!?!

As revealed here first, Upper Deck Select Australia was contracted by the ABL to produce sets of cards this year for each of their 6 teams. Each set contains 12 cards and they retail for $9.99 each.

They are nice looking cards however all credit for the design must go the way of Upper Deck. Its exactly the same as the 2009 UD base cards! Come on Select, do you just not care? Is it really that difficult to come up with a design with at least some resemblance of originality?

The irony of the most uncreative card company stealing ideas from one of the most creative card companies is not lost on me.
