5. Research the Seller

Okay so you’re going to buy from a seller on eBay. Use your head and do some research on the seller. If you do nothing else make sure you take the time to read through a seller’s recent feedback. It’s going to give you a good indication on how the seller operates. Don’t reward sellers with poor feedback. If you were in a retail shop and someone gave you bad customer service would you go back? Apply the same thought process to eBay.

6. Sounds too good to be true? Then it usually is.

There a plenty of scammers working away on eBay to take your money and unfortunately the trading card section is no safe haven. So here is a pretty simple piece of advice – if it looks too good to be true then 99% of the time it is. Here is an example of a seller with zero feedback selling a high end Andrew Johns signature card. Alarm bells rang and a quick Google search found that the picture had been taken from another card sellers website.
